Church praying for EU

Salisbury Cathedral's pro-EU prayers

Mon, 12/08/2013

Salisbury Cathedral has announced that they will be holding prayers next month to mark the 40th anniversary of the UK joining the Common Market. These prayers will include a prayer to keep Britain in the EU!
Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury has been chosen to host the event because it was the home of the late Sir Edward Heath, the Prime Minister who took the UK into what became the unvoted for EU in 1973.

It has been announced in the mainstream press that leading pro-Europeans will attend.

This seems to be an outrageous move by the supposed un-political church, designed to influence the Out of EU debate. What right does the Church have to try and influence any debate when they don't even speak up for the rights of the indigenous people of the British isles?
